Laura Phippen, CPA

Professional Experience
Laura Phippen is an experienced CPA who has worked in wide range of accounting environments. Prior to joining RP&B CPAs in 2015, she worked in a corporate accounting department, at a large public accounting firm and established her own consulting business. As a result, Laura can relate to the business challenges that affect her clients and understand how requirements, audits and financial reporting can become overwhelming.

Known for her attention to and retention of details along with her ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients, Laura is often sought out to answer questions or provide an opinion to a complex situation. Her expertise also includes not-for-profit organizations, which have unique regulations and challenges.

Her hallmark is her relationships as evidenced by the many clients from prior professional “lives” who continue to seek her advice and want to stay connected. Within RP&B, she is known as one of the “go to” resources for staff and has helped provide training on complex and GAAP procedures.

Personal Note
A native and resident of Riverside, California, Laura is “super busy” after hours. When not looking after family members who require her attention, she enjoys the arts, reading and travel. She has a list and has just checked off Alaska.
